Having your own guide will help enhance your experience of Stonehenge. As you wander amongst the stones of the centre circle, taking photographs, you will be able to listen to the interesting facts about Stonehenge and the surrounding landscape and to ask questions.

From the base of archaeological facts springs the story of the building of Stonehenge, not only the building of a monument, but the building of an enigma, which over millennia has gathered mystery and myth around itself like a November mist. Within those silent portals is a mystery to challenge the human imagination, a space for awe and wonder. Stonehenge is our inheritance - we are the children of its builders.

Carol Druce has been living in the shadow of the stones for a quarter of a century. She has worked as an independent guide at Stonehenge for 8 years and is conversant with its history, archaeology and legends. Over the years Carol has had the opportunity to talk to archaeologists who have worked on the site. She has conducted guided tours inside the centre circle for the last 3 years being quite different from one on the outside believes that this is a unique experience.

To arrange the private access please contact by phone or email at least one month in advance, as everything needs to be arranged. And we will meet the guide there.
